Abdullah Bin Nasser Al-Thani
Abdullah Bin Nasser Al-Thani is a successful businessman and member of the Qatari royal family. Sheikh Abdullah is from the Qatari ruling family and distant relative of current ruler Sheikh Hamad.
Sheikh Abdullah runs a diversified conglomerate with more than 3,000 employees which operates in over 30 countries. He is vice president, shareholder and board member of Doha Bank, one of the largest in the Middle East.
The bank has investments in various sectors ranging from hotel chains and shopping malls to mobile phone companies, travel agencies, boutiques and electronics, to automotive and truck dealers.
The sheikh spends a large amount of time doing charitable work including helping the disabled. He is also involved in the granting of scholarships to young people from poorer backgrounds. Al-Thani is also a sports lover. He is an honorary-partner of Al-Rayyan, the most important football club in Qatar, and he also owns many horses. Al Thani recently became the owner of Malaga Football Club.
He is 43 years old and studied Business Administration, Management and Law in Egypt. The sheikh already owns a home in Marbella and usually communicates in English. However, his Spanish leaves a lot to be desired. It is said that he only knows how to say 'Hola, como estas?'.
